Red Poppy Bike Ride

About: 

The Red Poppy Charity Bike Ride benefits Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, the SERTOMA Scholarship Program for Georgetown ISD, and the Georgetown Police and Fire Department’s Bicycle Program.

The ride sponsors are the Georgetown SERTOMA Club, Sun City Cyclists, Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Georgetown Cyclopaths.

Routes:

There are four well-supported routes of approx. 12 miles (Family Circle), 29 miles, 40 miles, and 62 miles, so there’s something for everyone. All routes pedal through moderately flat terrain interspersed with rolling hills on the eastern side of Williamson County.
