The WCCAC Holiday Market gives families who have recently received services from the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center the opportunity to experience the joy of giving and receiving during the holiday season.
Caregivers can “shop” for gifts for their children at no cost, choosing items that are meaningful and age-appropriate for each child. But the experience is about more than what caregivers take home. Children also have the opportunity to choose gifts for their caregivers, giving them a chance to experience the joy of giving during the holidays.
While caregivers shop, children spend time with our volunteers in a special holiday space where they can choose gifts for their caregivers, watch Christmas movies, make holiday crafts, and enjoy time together.
Once the family has finished shopping, our volunteers wrap all of the gifts and bring them out to the family’s car, so families can leave with everything ready for the holidays.
The Holiday Market is made possible entirely through the generosity of our community. There are many ways you can help make this experience possible for local children and families. Donate gifts, host a holiday drive, make a financial contribution, or volunteer your time.
