1 in 10 Brunch

About the 1 In 10 Brunch

One in ten children impacted by abuse will ever speak up.

The other nine are counting on the adults around them to notice.

Join the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center for our inaugural One in Ten Brunch on April 7, 2027, at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock. This new mission-focused gathering will bring community leaders together to learn more about WCCAC’s work and help provide the resources needed to create hope, healing, and justice for children and families impacted by abuse, violence, and exploitation.

Designed as a fresh take on a traditional fundraising gathering, the 1 in 10 Brunch will center meaningful connection, conversation, and investment in the mission. As WCCAC’s newest signature fundraising event, the brunch will replace our participation in Destination: Hope Gala and provide critical support for the free services we provide to children and families throughout Williamson County.

Explaining the Name: Why 1 in 10?

Explaining the Name: Why 1 in 10?

Only one in ten children impacted by abuse will ever speak up about what is happening to them. That means nine out of ten children may never tell a trusted adult, report what happened, or ask for help.

We have to be ready to recognize the signs.

The One in Ten Brunch brings together people who can help change that statistic: business leaders, community advocates, philanthropists, law enforcement, child welfare professionals, and others committed to creating a community where children can grow up safe and free from abuse.

When a Child Speaks Up, We're Ready.

At the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, children and families don’t have to navigate the aftermath of abuse alone.

Our team brings together professionals from multiple disciplines to provide coordinated support, including forensic interviews, medical care, family advocacy, trauma therapy, case coordination, and more.

Our services are provided free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

How Can You Be a Part of 1 in 10?

There are several ways to get involved.

Whether you’re a business looking to make a meaningful investment, an individual passionate about WCCAC’s mission, or a community leader interested in bringing others to the table, there’s a place for you.

Mission Partners

Mission Partners are the cornerstone supporters who help make this event possible while advancing the mission of WCCAC. In addition to receiving event recognition and guest seating, Mission Partners work alongside WCCAC to thoughtfully invite business leaders, philanthropists, and community advocates who are inspired to invest in protecting children and strengthening our community.

Event Experience Sponsors

Event Experience Sponsors help create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest while receiving meaningful brand recognition throughout the event. These opportunities are ideal for organizations looking to support WCCAC through their community engagement or marketing initiatives.

Matching Gift Partners

Matching Gift Partners help maximize generosity by creating a collective matching fund that encourages every gift made during the event. By joining other community leaders in this effort, your investment inspires additional giving and amplifies the impact of every donation.

Table Hosts

Table Hosts serve as ambassadors for the mission by inviting community members who are passionate about making a difference. Working alongside the WCCAC team, hosts help curate a table of guests who will be inspired by the mission and encouraged to invest in protecting children in Williamson County.

Not sure which opportunity is right for you? We'd love to talk.
