How can I help?

Provide a support system for the child and family during the child abuse investigation process Monday – Friday during regular business hours.

Assist with a wide variety of marketing, development, and fundraising tasks to further the Center’s efforts in the community. Organize items, take inventory, help plan seasonal donation drives, and shop for supplies needed by families in crisis.

Participate in the Center’s fundraisers. Activities include decorating, set up, registration, graphic design, photography, sponsorship solicitation, auction support, and more.

Participate and assist our Community Educator with training, booths and other events out in the community. Help us get our good word to the community!

Assist with the upkeep and appearance of the Center’s facility interior by making minor repairs and also with beautification of the grounds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I Volunteer if I'm 18 and in High School?

While we appreciate youth wanting to help out other youth, we often serve clients that are also high school-aged.  To ensure their privacy, we want to make sure that as a volunteer you don’t bump into someone that you might know.

However, if you are under the age of 18 or are 18 and attending a Williamson County High School we encourage you to check out our Weekend Warriors of WCCAC!

Can I only Volunteer during Business Hours?

While most of our on-going volunteer opportunities occur during business hours (M-F: 8 AM – 6 PM) we do sporadically have community outreach events on the weekend or after hours from time to time.

Additionally, we have our Weekend Warrior program which allows those to volunteer who normally cannot during business hours.

As a Volunteer will I be able to watch a Forensic Interview?

No. The only people who are able to watch a Forensic Interview are staff members and the MDT members who are working the case.

Can I Volunteer my time outside the Center?

Yes! If you want to be involved, we will find a way to get you connected. Whether that’s making blankets, collecting stuffed animals, or picking up supplies to help assemble packets!

There are also lots of opportunities for hosting drives as well, check out our donate page for more info

Is there a Time Commitment for Volunteering?

No, we understand that not everyone’s schedules are fixed/normal. We do not have a minimum hour requirement you must hit to remain an active volunteer in our program, however, if you remain inactive/uncommunicative for two months we may mark you as inactive.
